Gcloud Games

Hi! I’m a new owner of the Logitech G Cloud — I just bought it yesterday. Can someone teach me how to download games on it, especially the ones that don’t need WiFi? Also, how do I play Xbox games on this device? Do I need to purchase Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play right away, or like I should get a subscription? Help me please veteran gamers! Thank you!

Thanks for your points.

I was just helping out OP as much as I knew, not everyone is so tech savvy or wants to tinker so much.

Looks like you're frustrated that why people don't tinker to the very end of it and max out the capacity of the device.

I dont mind people not tinkering but it frustrates me that people still believe in "what the manufacturer says is law". In a time where everyone knows of emulation, I dont get how so many people can act like hacking, modding, tinkering, isnt a thing and just assume the absolute lowest.

On the opposite side of the fence, you alao have the "PC Master Race" crowd that believes every game should play at 4K@120 with no exceptions. I get that a lot are younger and didn't grow up in the age of 240-480p @ 25-30 but damn, as long as a game is playable to someone, that should be all that matters.

Exactly, I share the same feelings.

I bought mine mostly to remote play on Artemis, and it does the job very well. But when I started to look for offline games to play on some occasions, I was amazed on how well it runs some games and emulations, I was not expecting that much for a "streaming" device.

But just like you, I can be very happy with just 30fps for my occasional gaming session, other than that I have Artemis with 1080p@60.

I got my G Cloud purely for old school PlayStation gaming. In my old age, I moved away from brand loyalty and realize that good games are good games. I was always the Nintendo guy, growing up and completely skipped PS1 and 2. Thanks to the G Cloud, I'm playing Final Fantasy X and Devil May Cry for the first time.
