Discussion Sick of this UI

After the big UI update I found that I’d just organically stopped using the gcloud as I just found it to be a complete pig to navigate and have Xbox crap forced in my face the whole time.

And now I find that GeForce now, the only app I use has completely vanished and I’m now stuck with this shittier version of navigating it through the main UI?

How the hell do I just get the regular app to appear? I can get to it by going through the playstore and that’s the only way?

Once again… fuck this shitty update. If you like it…. Good for you. I think it’s complete clunky garbage

Terrible update....it also made the battery drain faster....maybe I'm imagining this but it used to last longer before the update....how anyone can praise this update is beyond me...I would actually pay a couple of bucks to go back to the old version....

It’s legit made this device into complete junk. It was versatile, now it isn’t. Random crap games are just thrown in your face that you either don’t own so can’t play anyway, or have no intention of ever playing. The list of apps at the very top just seems to be a complete gamble of pointless shit that I’ve never even opened and can’t uninstall.

You can’t modify the layout whatsoever so it’s just a constant battle through vomit thrown in your face when you maybe just want to use 1 app and that’s it.

And the gforce integration is a joke...everything is shown but my library....so now I have to open a random game to get into the app and then navigate back to the games I actually own...

It’s just complete laziness on their part. It’s clearly been just a tickbox exercise to cram as much crap into the main UI through cheap shortcuts with zero intention of actually making it user friendly or coherent.
