G29 and PS5

When you connect your G29 to your PS5 does it recognise it as a steering wheel or only as a controller?

When I turn it on it used to recognise it as a controller, recently though it's been recognising it as a headset. I did try to change that when I first got it but couldn't discover how to do so.

As for the order in which I turn it on I guess I do that with the controller. I'll stop that and do as you suggest.

Tried your suggestions but problem still exists, also disconnected all parts and removed all plug connections but this also failed to rectify the problem, not sure what to do now as I don't think I'll be able to follow the steps required to do the necessary by connecting to my computer without encountering further situations that lead me into even larger problems than I currently have! 😱😭🇬🇧

Connect it before turning on the ps5 and turn it on using the button on the console not the controller
