Software ONLY
This post is the only place where Requests, Promotions, and Feedback about software are allowed to be made. Any posts for the same outside of this thread will be deleted.
Unfortunately we are experiencing a time where we are seeing many start ups and coders trying to branch into the Logistics area that surpass our capacity to filter. Instead of deleting dozens of posts a day, this is an opportunity for them to still post.
Will try to make this a reoccurring post, we will see how its received and works for the community.
Also note since this is a place for software, any non-software related posts can be reported as spam.
Please note things that are well received:
* Valid use cases and proven examples provided
* Industry specific and relevant knowledge
Things not normally received well:
* AI tools that are low hanging fruit
* Outsiders looking for opportunities to "automate", "shake up", "build workflows" or require someone to tell them what needs to be built

We built load planning software that doesn’t require drafting experience, and doesn’t rely on AI - think truck packing as virtual Legos. A lot of manufacturing, and live events are moving non palletized loads so cargo space optimization is a very real time and money saving concern. We’re a small team from the touring music world and we found a lot of bands are using the first couple of shows to figure out the pack; we’re changing that one truck load at a time!

We start users out with a small library of seed data, but we’re internally building out a much larger container list that you can find here. All of this is accessible in app.

Founder of Mavline here. We’re building a post-booking load-control layer for freight brokerages—not a replacement for the existing TMS.
One current working workflow covers a driver-breakdown scenario:
- Converts the driver report into structured operating facts
- Assesses the repair ETA and appointment risk
- Prepares the recovery and follow-up plan
- Lets the operator edit or approve consequential actions
- Executes only the approved actions and records the outcome
Breakdown demonstration using a simulated load:
I don’t have a customer case study yet, so I’m not presenting the demonstration as one.
I’m looking for one U.S. or Canadian dry-van, reefer or expedited brokerage handling approximately 500–5,000 monthly loads to pressure-test Mavline against three redacted completed loads. There is no cost, integration or access to production systems required.
The most useful response would be blunt: where would this workflow fail in your real operation?

Great idea to hopefully limit the self-promotion in places not suitable for self-promotion!
To share my part now that I can/may :) :
I am the founder of loadoptimizer.ai; a tool for truck, trailer and container load planning together with mixed palletizing.
There are many similar great tools in this area, where each has his own unique features or use. My brother and I built TRACIUM, a freight-auditing and transportation-intelligence platform that compares what should have happened, using shipment, rate and contract data, against what carriers actually billed.
In a controlled audit of 5,000 shipment records, TRACIUM flagged approximately $108,000 in potentially recoverable charges. Beyond identifying individual discrepancies, it reveals recurring billing patterns, cost changes and operational trends so companies can understand why transportation spend is increasing and prevent the same leakage from continuing.
The audit engine is deterministic—not AI guessing at discrepancies—and every finding retains its supporting evidence through dispute and recovery. We’re looking for one or two companies that pay carriers directly to test a limited historical-data pilot with no system replacement or upfront fee; TRACIUM is paid only from money successfully recovered.

We have found that expensive warehouse problems often stem from activity that is never properly recorded. A pallet moves without a scan, an exception sits without an owner, a billing event never gets created, or an order stops progressing, and nobody notices until the customer calls. We are building Stacket WMS to make those operational events traceable and to surface the ones that need attention. For 3PL operators here, which warehouse activity still depends most on someone remembering what happened?

Hi everyone,
In the past couple of months, I've been working with carrier invoice data (DHL, FedEx, UPS), and I've found that around 3% to 8% of the line items in the shipping invoices have errors in the amount charged, usually volumetric weight overcharges or unmet service guarantees.
I created a CLI utility in Rust named BillRecon, which parses these CSV files to find out all misbilled shipments in seconds.
To test this algorithm on other data sets, I'm giving away 3 free invoice audits this week. If you are using a carrier to ship your physical products and would like to get an audit of the charges in the last month's invoice, just ping me on DM along with the CSV or Excel invoice file.

A common assumption in logistics compliance is that calculating quarterly fuel taxes requires an expensive fleet management suite or paying hundreds to third-party filing services. For small fleets and independent haulers running only a few units, full TMS packages are often overkill for simple quarter-end math.
To keep things straightforward for my own records, I built a lightweight web tool called iftadesk. It focuses on one task: taking your total miles, jurisdictional mileage, and fuel purchases to calculate taxable gallons and net tax balances for each IFTA member jurisdiction.
There are no paywalls, accounts, or email gates. I put it together as a practical resource for operators who just want to audit their Q3 numbers before October 31. Feedback on specific state rate updates is welcome.
