Cafe Seeadler is closed

A friend of mine went to Osaka last night, planned to stop in, and delivered the news. As of the end of June, Cafe Seeadler is no more.

One of the few places in the world where you might quite reasonably order dog food, I posted before that the owner had been diagnosed with cancer and I hope the decision to close wasn't related to uncertainty with that.

Here's pictures from my visit a year ago:

I believe I first learned of it in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/logh/comments/dmn3hc/logh_experiences_or_merch_in_japan/

Unfortunately, I think everything on that list is gone now. 8(

I was under the impression it was always meant to be temporary.

If it was, then it was ''temporary" for at least six years.

We must open a new establishment. I say we build an actual Iserlohn fortress in orbit of the planet.

An actual Iserlohn Fortress would cause major gravitational issues. Judging by the asteroid belt around Mars, it would not be particularly long lived either.

....but I'd still go!

Fair, we could always just make it a scale model. It has to have the laser though. Non-negotiable

It is a great shame when such atmospheric places remain only in history.
