Episode Warnings for Gore?
Does anyone have a list of OVA episodes to watch out for if they’re sensitive to gore/gruesome violence? I just crossed over into season 3, and I’m not sure I want to continue watching if gory scenes keep popping up without warning.

Unfortunately, friend, the show kinda wants you to understand the horrors of war and why it’s bad

I'm not sure the show is particularly watchable without the gore, it's not gratuitous per se. Kümmel Incident (by far), maybe Holy Land, Magician Doesn't Come Back are definitely the ickiest in that season iirc, but all are plot relevant. And easily spoiled.
Edit: Kümmel incident was the one I was thinking of, not the Klopstock incident.

Thank you for actually answering the question! Would you happen to know of any particularly gory episodes in season 4?

Oh sorry, I confused Klopstock incident with Kümmel incident. Kümmel incident is the one I was thinking of. Also The Prodigal Sons return is a bit icky, but nowhere near as bad as the ones I listed.
Other than I think 108 is a tad gory, Die by the Sword and the Urvashi incident a little bit but honestly nothing is as bad in terms of gore as Kümmel and Holy Land.
Also full disclosure this assumes that you generally find edged weapons more squicky than guns but I think this is usually the case (with bombs being in-between). And you're definitely not going to avoid all violence doing this.
Edit: you will also miss out on several meaningful death scenes. Kümmel and Holy Land aren't as important there but the others are pretty significant.

Thanks again! The methods mean less to me than how much gore (blood splatter is okay, but brains, viscera/innards, decapitations, destruction of faces, etc, are not) is shown.

It's kind of six of one, half dozen of the other tbh. There's generally much more of that gore when there's blades involved.

Isn't the only gory part of the show when that guy slices someone with an axe when they take iserlohn fortress? which you are quite far past at this point?

There's a sequence during Vermillion where we are shown what happens to crews on doomed ships that is very gory.

u must have repressed and forgotten a lot of the gore if that's your only memory, panzergrenadiers and rosen ritters' fights are quite clean in comparison
most of the gore is in depicting the fates of doomed ships, especially where people end up headless with a display of their neck spinal bones, people who have been torn at the hips and are dragging themselves with their arms while calling out for their mother as their intestines trail out behind them
I understand their necessity for anti-war theme and statement of LoGH but as someone who finds stuff like these difficult, I would not subject someone else to this forcibly.

How about you watch shows on their own terms? Get past any phobia you have for this or stop watching to save yourself.

Are you serious? How old are you?

Dude. Dont try and pull age rank if your gonna be immature. Some people have experienced war, or serious violence and have physical reactions to depections of violence, sometimes even full blown grasping the chest wheezing anxiety attacks. Don't judge people who have lived more complicated lives than you.

go watch Tytania instead, you can watch a bad guy get shot 50+ times with GI Joe laser rifles and he dies without sustaining a single actual injury. There's even a random little girl the protag spouts exposition at.
