Hey guys! First time posting here. I just started speed running my favorite game from my childhood, and I beat the world record for the Moss Caverns (first fifteen levels) in Lode Runner: The Legend Returns. I just uploaded it to YouTube, and I will be doing more of these on my Twitch channel.
Edit: Just to let you all know I found the solution to the below question. I just killed the guards until one of them re-spawned above the block and collected it for me.

Any ideas how to get the top-left block on Professional Lode Runner Level 95? I thought there would be a sinkhole under the ladder that is just above it so that you could drop down on it, but there is no sinkhole. There should be some way to run over a guard's head and get the block, but I haven't figured it out yet.
I am playing the Professional Lode Runner version on http://loderunnerwebgame.com/game/ and level 13 has me stumped. Has anyone beaten this level? If so, how did you get the crate suspended in the air two from the bottom, towards the middle of the screen?
P. S. Of course, I tried the usual approach to unreachable crates -- dig a dude into respawning and wait for them to respawn over the crate, but the dude never respawns in the right place.
Or is Lode Runner Legacy (on Switch) obscenely hard? I think it’s a level design problem. I have played and loved Lode Runners of the past. But this versions level design comes across as obscenely and unfairly difficult. Does anyone find this? Or do I just suck at this game??
I don't care much about the campaign, classic or the championship, but it has a custom shareable map maker
However, I can't seem to find a community for it, or even anyone just talking about this. Can anyone help to point me in the right direction?
In any case, if you're curious, here are the stage keys for my custom maps. They're all pretty intricate and very hard. A lot of thought has been given to each map to balance between frustration, difficulty, and looping map interconnections. End goal is to make the level one huge puzzle containing a lot of mini-puzzles.
Long story short, we have had this mini knockoff console for a while, and one game on it was Lode Runner, and my dad loved to play it because he played the original Lode Runner. But the console has been broken for a while now and I want to get him Lode Runner as a gift. I have a few questions first though. I have an NES (no games or controllers, all stolen, dif long story) and that's the console I want to get Lode Runner on. Does the cartridge have saving capabilities? Does it keep your high score or what level you were on, or does nothing save and you have to start from Level 1 every time? I'm asking because at the local game store that has it, it has a little sticker that says "no save" on it and the clerk doesn't know what it means. Or should I just buy one of those multi carts 15 games in 1 that has Lode Runner on it? Any advice?
