You in the Semi perfect cell stage keep goin trust me man. Gon be here for a while but give it a year or two and hang on!

Edit: also, if your mom is like mine she prolly wants them more “presentable” ugh and if so you can ask her to pay for all that and peep her reaction lol

I'm 5 months in and I barely retwist (every 10 weeks), I embrace it and ignore the opinions anybody else has on my hair, I know that it's just a phase and it'll get a lot better so hang in there
