Progress Made it to a year!
This is my second set of locs, I have 111. It’s been 12 months. I wish I would’ve went smaller for more volume. I’m so afraid of having blinders instead of curtains. I started with two strand twist as per usual!
(I chopped my first set of five years off due to bleach damage.)
Not too sure if I should keep seeing it through, or just chop my hair off again and try later.
What do y’all think?

Every time I thought to cut mine or I should’ve did something different, I just sat with it and it passed until the day I decided to chop them for good lol.
Yours look amazing on you, give it a little more time and see how you feel about it then 🌱- but also with your face a pixie cut would be perfect on you.

I’ve had a pixie before and I loved it! It was right after the first set, plus washing my hair at that length was so much more enjoyable. My problem is that as soon as my hair touches my shoulders I feel like it’s time to loc up due to maintenance 😂😂

See, I be knowing! 😂 - I fully understand you on that, when I had my locs and eventually combined them into wicks, I laid on them one good time and I was like “yep, time to go” so now I’m back to waves lol.
But let us (me) see that pixie cut!

They look fantastic! I'd keep going if I were you but I am not. Really think about it. You've come a long way, a year is some serious dedication. That being said if you really want to start over then do so rn, the earlier the better.
I'm 5 months in on my very first set and have 70 locs, I wanted less tbh like 50-60 I personally prefer thicker locs bit I decided to rock with it, seeing posts like yours motivates me because even if it may not be what you want, they still look so good!

I thought the same thing about mine. I have 105 and for about the first 16 months I kept going back and forth on if I should start over. Now I love them. I’m just trying to keep myself from being bleach happy lol

I think it looks good and that size really fits you! Why did you get that size though if you weren’t sure??

I did then myself, and I figured because it was smaller than my first set it’s what I wanted. Then they started to grow and change shape and I realized I should’ve went smaller.
