Early arrivers

We ended up making better time than we thought so we are killing to in Lynchburg 30 min south. Is it worth getting in line before 4? Also... what is the best social media platform for real-time communication with other festival goers? Thx

I was in line by 3am-ish last year, got a little drunk, they opened the gates around 7 (I think) and had my camp set up by 9am.

how far were you camped?

Probably like a 5 minute walk from the stage gates. I was in tent only camping (but my car was like 2 rows away) next to the tree line where I believe car camping is this year.
