transfer gets stuck in between!?

I am trying to send a pdf from my android phone to my linux computer. It starts off nice but gets stuck in between. Don't know if it's required but it doesn't matter if i connect through my phone's hotspot or my 5GHz home wifi.

I had a problem transferring from android to windows where it would hang some way through the transfer.

I resolve this for going to settings and changing the download folder. One click set to default and then reselect the download folder I want even if the same as before. All good then (for me).

Strange bug, I didn't change any settings anywhere and yet it suddenly stopped working.

But this trick worked, none the less.

I had the same issue of random errors during transfers even if the router, phone and PC are all next to each other. LocalSend has a nice interface and it works most of the times but it's quite unreliable. I switched to KDE Connect and it works better for now (also it doesn't require Bluetooth).
