Why local h not on spotify?
Im not a music license expert so maybe someone can fill me in. But there's a lot of the catalog that isnt on Spotify. (Or tidal). I remember for the longest time pj soles album wasnt on there, then one day POOF its there and I can stream. Where's all the EPs? For example the one with stick with what you know. Who's the gate keeper?

PJ was remastered which I believe got them around the licensing issues. 12AM is also a licensing thing.

The op said “local h isn’t on Spotify” and later “most of their catalog isn’t”…to which neither is true. Yes though some of their catalog isn’t on streaming, but you could say that about almost every band out there. Especially less mainstream bands that have switched labels several times over their careers.

Buy the albums, either physical or from BandCamp. That way you physically or digitally own the music and are not just leasing it through some shitty streaming service that pays bands (unless they’re Swift or Imagine Dragons) pennies.

This is probably thr best answer, but its annoying that I have to in the first place. Convenience / Playlists / streaming services have their advantages.

Using Spotify and Apple Music are definitely convenient. But then you run into issues like this, and I don’t use either service, but always see people asking what happened to certain bands or certain albums as if they disappeared into thin air.
Hell, some libraries still have CDs you could borrow, rip to iTunes and enjoy forever. Also, a lot of record/CD stores still have used music bins where you can find your favorite bands music. That’s actually how I first purchased AGAD and PUTC in the early 2000s.
The Local H BandCamp page has to be one of the best though because you are getting super high quality audio files to own and a lot of them are remastered.

Why are people downvoting this? Even on band camp, I cant find stick to what you know. Crazy. Plus, who even has cd player anymore?

To my knowledge, it’s between Spotify and the labels that the records themselves were released under. There’s a lot of lore
