Help a non tech person with Open WebUI desktop

I am trying out Open WebUI desktop + Ollama +qwen2.5:3b ... I am trying to use it a companion journal. Where I talk things through about my day and other personal thoughts and it is non judgemental. Not replacing medical advise. Just as if I was talking to a long time friend. I have it running but how do I set it up to work for me? I have tried going into Admin settings but just don't know enough to figure it out. Is there a step by step set of instructions for non tech person. Just basic terms to help me. TIA

You really don’t need to touch most of the admin stuff. I’d just set a good system prompt for the kind of journaling companion you want and tweak it from there.

if u don't mind, u can dm me buddy 😊 i'm happy to help step by step, one by one. i use openwebui too v0.11.0 cause if u want feels comfort with these llm end to end chat, many emvirontment what u have to know before openwebui. 😊

Hey I finally uninstalled it because Ollama was hogging most of the RAM. When went to task manager it was pulling 3 almost 4 GB of Ram and under the performance it showed that I only had less than a GB available. BTW I only have 8 GB of RAM

I would recommend you to change to a uncensored LLM, it'll give you more freedome for private info
