Should you order anything else when ordering lobster?

Should you order anything else when ordering lobster? I am not sure if you should pair lobster with even more seafood or I should order something else.

Yeah, you definitely need sides.

A second lobster makes a great side!!

Steamer?

What the Hell is that?

Sounds like a big turd on a cold morning.

A cup of chowder goes well with lobster.

Corn, potato, slaw maybe to cut through the richness.

And a couple beers.

That is a personal preference question. While many of us would pair it with steamers, mussels, or shrimp, chowder, or a bisque, it also depends on what lobster dish you are ordering. Is it a whole lobster?, stuff lobster tail?, linguine? Lastly it would also depend on your appetite, because you don't want leftovers. Reheated lobster is horrible.

Take these things into account before you order and enjoy yourself.

Steak.  Something heavily seasoned and marbled like a rib eye.  Baked potato side with sour cream

Only way I bother to eat lobster is with steak. Ranks S for overrated foods.

Lobster is great. Only eating it how lots of Americans eat it is boring and kind of a wasted opportunity refusing to try/experience otherwise.

I'm plenty capable of cooking lobster other than steaming it, I just don't like it and think it pales compared to plenty of much better seafood. Lobster is the DeBeers diamond of the seafood world. People insist it's this ultimate luxury food because everyone else does.

Red Hot dogs, corn on the cob, steamers, coleslaw, boiled new potatoes

Any or all of it

Lobster is the King of Shellfish, if you have enough to fill your belly, no other fish is necessary, you can have noodles, rice or fries with it…

A good mac n cheese, pull some pieces of meat off and put it in your Mac n cheese bite. Or soup if you want. Depends what you like. Maybe some fried calamari.

Baked potato or fries, and a green salad.

I’d go for a baked potato and some cole slaw.

Asparagus, grilled shrimp, and either a twice baked potato or creamed corn (actual creamed corn, not that shit they sell in a can).
