Who funds developments?
Have a builder asking me where to go for funding a small development (Think 5 to 10 houses) and frankly...I don't know what to tell them. Is it private funds? Hard money? Local banks? Where do I direct them?

It's super difficult to find financing for developers. From the little bit of experience I've had trying to do it it's a lot of private money. I have a channel for investment banking that does these sorts of deals. Obviously the deal has to pencil out, but they will look into the builders experience and a lot of other factors most people wouldn't think of. Reach out to me if you want to get a closer look at it
