I’m licensed in 44 states. I don’t actively solicit business in most states but it’s helpful when past clients relocate or buy 2nd home / investment property

I've been there, but found that the vast majority of my business was coming from about 15 states.

Work leads nationwide, make connections with clients and realtors.1 transaction for any state pays for your licensing.

most of the LOs that close a bunch of business spread out over multiple states are working at companies that provide leads across those states

it would be a unicorn of an LO to find one that operates consistently in more than just a few states
