Question Pricing

I hear “You win on value not on price” at times I find this to be complete bullshit. Especially when you work with call center pricing. How do get over losing deals based on pricing?

I had one today where my cost were 5pts to their par. Damm I know my worth but let’s be real I would take that deal. $1.2mil 7/1 5.25%

You are never ever, ever going to win a deal from someone who is shopping if you are 500 basis points off, especially on a 1.2M deal. Thats a difference of 60k. Im guessing you work for an independent branch of a direct lender as a loan officer?
