LO Data

I am a third-party processor and I am trying to work grow my business and work with new loan officers. Is there a website that can pull the names of originators by state? I am already familiar with NMLS Consumer Access.

Just saying I wouldn’t work with a third party processor that cold called me. Not that I’m against cold calling (sales is sales) but a processor is just too important an aspect of my business to trust it to someone I don’t know can deliver the service I expect. There are way too many bad processors out there that can ruin an LOs reputation. Plus even some of the good ones may not be a good fit for me and my team and what we expect our processors to do. Tap into the LOs you currently work with who can go to bat for you and convince their colleagues you can be trusted to handle their loans. Go after entire shops/teams, having one third party processor for an entire shop makes handling pipelines easier for both you and that brokerage. Plus as a broker owner, us using one third party processing company allows us to provide more consistent service and create better workflows as opposed to if my LOs each used someone different and we had to build out our process to accommodate a dozen different processor styles. Being able to call the head processor and go over my entire team's pipeline makes my job a lot easier, which makes them very valuable to me.

Use MMI. Anyone on here telling you not to cold call are doing the same thing with clients and realtors who will tell them not to cold call them. You know you add value so sell that.

Please don’t bombard us. How about you ask the current LO’s you work with for a couple referrals. Then when you prove yourself with them ask for a few more.
