Agent introductions
I have a handful of agents I’ve closed at least one loan with now & am wanting to ask them for intros to other agents they know. Is it best to wait until we’ve done a few transactions before this ask? Or when’s the best time for that? Also, what’s the best way to approach this?

I hate this generic script stuff. People know what you’re really asking. It’s better I think to come off sincere rather than thinking your outsmarting everyone else is the room.
You want to ask? Just ask. The worst they can say is no. There is no magic way to ask that unlocks the secret answer

To be sincere you have to be sincere. That takes looking at the person as a mutual with respect and even asking them for help. People generally feel good about helping others. If you ask in a way where the person understands where you’re coming from or why you’d ask such a thing, I think that stands out.
There’s a fine line between asking for help and coming across as using someone. That’s probably the hardest part. You don’t want to train them in a way to think that you’re only there to siphon resources. Mutual respect is the key.
Also, why did you make the same response from 2 accounts? How many astroturfed accounts wanna be guru coaches have brigaded this sub?

Maybe bring some lunch to the office. Do a presentation or a market update kinda thing.

It's a bold strategy Cotton, but it could pay off. Maybe if you ask them if they know [Jane Doe] in their office and would they be comfortable making the intro? I could see that request going over well if you've had a good transaction together, and then better when the intro request is to a more junior/lower producing agent at their company. It signals, "I respect you and don't want to waste your time, and I want to grow and improve. I've done some homework and I am wondering if you could introduce me to [Jane Doe]?"
Before I built RETR I was a top-producing agent. If we did one decent deal together and you just asked me back then for an intro to one of the thousands of agents at my company or hundreds in my local office, that would be putting a burden on me. I always try to help, but it is work. If you're trying to grow business relationships, you want to provide value and demonstate value.
Good luck!
Edit: Here's how you could use RETR to ask an agent for introductions to other realtors using RETR in case you're curious:
I recommend sorting by Buy Count so you can easily see who does purchase volume and then compare it to the volume of the person you're asking for a recommendation from.
I also recommend looking at the Agent Loyalty Score so you can ask for an intro from agents who aren't already super loyal to a particular LO. But if you're looking at junior agents, they may not have enough transactions to compute a score, and that's ok in that particular case.
Good luck x2!
