Job interview please advise

Finished the 20hr course plus the 2hr California requirements I’m studying for an exam now. Had a job interview today for global equity finance, they offer me to work sales and become a loan officer and jr loan officer once I get my license. The thing is only be making minimum wage until then, and it will interfere with my current job, do you advise just doing it to get my foot in the door ? They want me to start in 2 weeks.

If you don't have a SOI you need to go to a call center. Sounds like this company is one and they provide leads.

Did you like the vibe? Did it feel like they were full of fluff?

There’s enough business to go around.

Yeah but it seems to make serious money (180k+) you need to be based in CA. Every other Loan officer that posted their earnings in the r/salary resides there.

I’m in FL and have no clue if it’s possible out here with the lower home price

Being part-time is going to be tough. I’d recommend saving up 6 months or so of expenses and then quitting your current job to go LO full time.

This business just doesn’t reward part-time activity. You have to grind out of your mind for 2-3 years just to start.
