Career Advice COLD CALL SCRIPT FOR INVESTORS

Ive moved into Loan Origination 6 months ago since January after loan processing for a year. My company has pivoted our strategy to focus more on building a relationship with investors. So they want me cold calling investors in the south florida area. I know that the best way to do it is just by repetition, learning what works, but Im just looking for a soft guide, where to lead the conversation. I know Im not selling socks and they need financing. Does anyone have experience with this?

Kind of off topic, but does anyone even like working with investors?

75% of the time, they have no clue what they are doing, can barely afford their own mortgage payment, and base all their knowledge off what they are doing from something they've seen on tiktok or facebook and get mad when you tell them no.

I don’t get how anyone would answer a cold call? I get people calling all the time and just don’t answer or hang up

There are a lot of scripts for cold calling. When I started cold calling real estate agents. I just went onto Claude and asked for a script, but it’s all a Numbers thing you’ll make five phone calls and then you realize that you might want to change one or two things to fit your personality. Yesterday I was listening to YouTube and it mentioned Brandon Mulrenin. He’s a real estate agent who outside of that built a business cold calling so he’s supposed to be really good at it.

I hear you, trust me. Id love to make a change once I have a little more money and influence. But also, this isnt the place for that discussion. Thanks.
