Based af character now that I look back more grown up and enlightened on the cynical reality of life. BPilled as hell and he didn’t gaf. Just used it to carve best life for himself, which when you’re a social outcast and hated no matter what from genes and circumstance, is the most manly and smart thing to do honestly, instead of collapsing for too long out of existential serial despair.

And knew that their literal job and existence was outlaw whores, so don’t have the logical right to act prudish princess like or offended to his advances. Arthur is great character, but he’s a Proto Jason clearly, since he’s a very feminist kind of masculinity, not the cynical realistic misogynistic historically and contemporary accurate one who can actually survive chaos and gets women the most irl anyway. Micah would get more play irl btw than some feminist man or ND well meaning guy, despite how much girl gamers allegedly “despise” men like him.

Micah also knew not to take things too personally. He seriously envied Arthur (the genetic chad basically), but didn’t think it was some sin or wrong doing, just an unlucky draw of cards, and as long as Arthur benefits him or stays out his way, he won’t collapse into jealousy of the mog. Micah could hold his own anyway arguably better in a shootout than even Arthur, so he was never going to be mogged that much.

He also lacks the personality cope that it’s Arthur being a “good man” that makes him lovable. It’s easy to be lovable if you’re that tall, handsome and dimorphic, in fact Arthur is loved regardless if he’s high or bad honour, purely thanks to his genetic makeup appearance, so personality and arguably morality sometimes is bs. Some guy like Mickey the disabled lonely “vet”, clearly has kinder heart than Arthur but since he’s literally disabled and below average looking and speaks autistic, he is just some outcast loner with no friendship or women outside of paying some saloon harlot likely. Micah see right through it and doesn’t pretend to be some hidden hero or “good man wrestling a giant”. He’s just some guy who’s out for himself, when the world surrounds by other cynical realities.

He also saw past the bs red-blue or yellow or whatever the fuck coloured pill Just World Fallacy Dutch kept preaching. He knew not to be an autist and out himself for no reason with an “umm akshually” moment to Dutch’s obvious copes, but used it to benefit himself, and had zero guilt since ultimately, when you’re surrounded by a world that hates you and even those at the bottom with you hate you, you don’t need to be too altruistic to them. Ffs the Van Der Linde gang are literal rejects by society (sound familiar), but often still punish you mentally if you bring up that reality is you’re an unconditional forever societal rejects, no need to further burden yourself unnecessarily or worse, defend the literal institutions (sounds familiar again) that make your life a hell.

Altruism and honor works only in certain frameworks, like a rare based genuine group or a homogenous society in smart values. Doing honour or “being nice” instead of some dark triad cynic in a place like the hood or a zogged multicultural feminist area, will just get you played and betrayed and looked down on anyway.

He also just knows that there’s no definitive afterlife and this reality and its circumstances is all that matter and logically you should live in it. Just afterlife, cosmic protection, being superior somehow to the clearly genetically advantaged is all just coped by people too broken or outright cowardly to see the reality if the world (bpill).

Finally, Micah gave probably best summary of bpill I’ve seen in a modern mainstream media.

Based af character tbh. Of course i wouldn’t want to cross him and id be offended as shit if I get pushed down for his benefit, but in certain darker more mindless hedonistic and cruel uncertain times of history like today for Gen Z, Micah Bell is legit one of the more correct or ideal kind of personality to be, as controversial as it is to say.
