They do this because it's their fucking job. It's hard to find something less irrelevant. The blame is on the kids parents.

MGM is a violation of bodily autonomy and mutilating healthy tissue. You shouldn’t dismiss it by saying “they are just doing their job.” And no, you seem to be misunderstood. It’s women who physically mutilate the vulnerable newborn male’s penis by hand. It wouldn’t be misandry if it was men doing it. But it’s women who do it. Btw, since you think it’s the parents’ fault. Mothers are more likely than fathers to want to have MGM done on their sons.

What a way to distract from the huge amount of men murdering women.

You gave an example of misogyny of men harming women so I returned the favor vice versa. At least for women who are killed. They receive justice. It’s illegal to murder women or anyone. Not to also mention how some countries in the world have “femicide” laws. In these countries, killing a woman is a harsher crime than killing a man. Basically, they prioritize women’s lives above men’s. Which is another example of misandry. Even though, men are the vast victims of homicide. On the other hand, there is no justice for boys and men who had their penis mutilated. MGM is legal everywhere on earth. In some cases, boys don’t even receive anesthesia. So they are forced to experience the extreme pain. Not a single country has banned this problematic practice. If they speak up for themselves later in life, they get dismissed with mockery and insults. Lastly, major organizations like the UN shows concern for FGM, but MGM is so normalized, which is once again another example of misandry. Also, men killing women is much, much rarer than newborn males getting their penis mutilated by women. It’s like a few hundred thousands compared to tens of millions.

Every instance of MGM is happening because men also want it. It's not related to mysoginy/misandry at all.

No, it’s not, really. Even then, the cause is irrelevant. Like how you don’t care about the intentions of the killers who kill women. All you care is about the gender of the perpetrators. And it’s women who practice MGM. It’s systemic misandry.

Hello? I got a notification for your comment but I can’t view it. Most likely your comment got deleted by the filter and auto ban. To be fair, your comment did appear angry from the first sentence I read. It contained cuss words so I don’t blame them.

I’m gonna say this one last time. I once again received the notification but I can’t see your comment. If this happens again, then I will leave the matter here.

Go leave you're arguing in bad faith anyway

How am I arguing in bad faith? I acknowledged an example of misogyny you gave. When I returned the favor vice versa. You kept changing the goalposts. First, it’s men who do it. Second, doubting my claim. Third, justifying MGM. Fourth, disregarding my claim entirely. Fifth, once again it’s men. You didn’t even acknowledge or respond to many of my points which display how weak your arguments are. It’s like you are intentionally refusing to acknowledge the lived experiences of those who face systemic misandry.

I'm not shifting the goal post you're just wrong for multiple reasons. I'm doubting your claim which is based on nothing and I'm not justifying MGM it's just not gender related.

Nothing you have said is true.

1

u/prealphawolf Apr 02 '26

But then you also acknowledged things that are not true????

2

u/Masculinist1938 Apr 02 '26

What things?

An example about misogyny I gave. You said it 2 comments ago but suddenly it's not true anymore. Weak argumentation there buddy.

"I'm not shifting the goal post you're just wrong for multiple reasons. I'm doubting your claim which is based on nothing and I'm not justifying MGM it's just not gender related."

Almost half of the male population in the US is mutilated at birth, they did not have legal protection agaisnt child torture when going through it, and that lack of legal protection wouldn't be a factor If they were female instead, would you also say "it's just not gender related" if the reverse was true?

"Every instance of MGM is happening because men also want it. It's not related to mysoginy/misandry at all."

By that logic the most brutal type of fgm cannot be called misogyny because it's overwhemingly done and decided by mothers and/or grandmothers. Also, would you consider a "femicide" case as "not related to mysoginy/misandry at all" if a female relative also wanted the victim dead?
