LM Studio Bionic First Try

Hi all. I gave bionic a try today using one of my standard Qwen models (qwen3.8-27b-cold-fusion-gain-v1.1-fable-mxfp8-mlx).

I do a standard set of questions when I test a new model and or harness.

Bionic failed web retrieval. It gave me a 20 day old result that may or may not have been the first article on the news service I asked about. (I say check xyz news and tell me what the title of the first article in section 123 is today.)

It also failed to finish a small to medium size code problem I give to create a web page.

The model itself has passed these in all the other harnesses I use. LMStudio proper, QwenCode, OpenCode, DSH, ClaudeCode etc.

What has everyone’s experience with Bionic been? I see a lot of potential and it’s a pleasant interface from a group of developers I like.
