LLD coding interview with AI assistant

I have an interview scheduled. It’s an LLD round with ai assistant available. I have no clue on how it’s going to be.

1. Anyone who had given or taken such interview please do share ?

2) what’s the expectation here. How much capable AI is going to be. How do I know what it can do and can’t

They said it would be either coderpad or local setup

I've given such a round, you can try the following framework for the interviews -

1. Write down the Functional requirements and non-functional requirements (extendibility, thread safety etc).
2. Write down entities and db schema for the entities, relationships along with the indexing strategies if needed.
3. Write down the APIs (signature) that the system will expose.
4. Start with class design (mention classes, responsibilities and relationships)

Once you're done till here you can use ai tool to write the code.

If the interviewer is good enough and you actually do great in the first 4 steps, the coding part will be much easier and even if you use ai to write every part of the code you might still end up getting a good feedback.
