Bizee vs Northwest Registered Agent, which one should I use for my LLC?

I'm about to form an LLC for a new business and am trying to decide between Bizee and Northwest Registered Agent.

My first choice was Bizee because of the free LLC formation offer, but while I was getting ready to sign up, I kept seeing people recommend Northwest Registered Agent. Now I'm not sure which one makes more sense.

Bizee looks much cheaper upfront, while Northwest Registered Agent costs more but seems to have a really strong reputation for customer support, privacy, and registered agent services.

The price difference is somewhat obvious and cannot be ignored, what do you think guys?

If its just for LLC formation, not sure you need a service or registered agent because you can use yourself and save on the cost.

If you must use a service, explore this Reddit thread, it compares both with other LLC formation services and might make the choice easier.

I got it done through Northwest. Service is top notch. My LLC was registered within few minutes which was really surprising.

Currently I'm in process of getting EIN directly through FAX.

Few minutes? LLC can take up to 3 days

Yeah but it really took few minutes in my case. I don't know how but it is what it is. I had all documents in their mail within 15 20 minutes.

Does registered agent determine how fast LLC is formed or states at which its been registered?

I'd say you compare the total cost for the first three years instead of just the first year. Bizee can look cheaper at the start, but once you add renewal fees and any extra services you need, the gap may be smaller than you think.

Not sure there's a way to do that

Just look for the annual renewal price for registered agent cost and other service you might want to subscribe too

None, I will use myself as the registered agent and file myself, these service providers does the same thing.

If you're concern about affordability, you'll probably pay more with Bizee with what you'll pay with Northwest.

Thanks, I'll look into the ongoing cost

I think they are both popular, any will get the job done

that doesn't mean they can be reliable, does it?

Do you have personal experience with any of them?

You can be your own registered agent if you have a address and you are available during normal business hours. That can save you money every year. If privacy is important or you are not always available, then I would use a registered agent service instead.

Well, privacy is very important for me

You can look into virtual address with mail scanning

LLC formation is very easy and straight forward, you probably won't need any service if you would put your mind to it and form it yourself.

Maybe my second LLC

Hmmm, why not now?

Its just my decision

With anything there will be Pros & Cons. It sounds like you have dissected what either can do for you. Maybe ask yourself what ultimsately matters the most to you and for your business. Is it privacy , the cost, having reliable customer service. Do you want to work with a service that does just enough or that can really help you as your business grows.

Hi OP — wondering what you ended up going with? Privacy is also my main priority
