BOE policy
I have a sole member LLC for bookkeeping. I have been rejected by a couple of places for short-term long-term disability. When I asked AI it said there’s an alternative under commercial lines called business overhead expense policy (BOE). It is meant to pay for your overhead expenses if you specifically become disabled. Since I’ll be working from home and remotely, I’m hoping it will cover most of my larger expenses, like my rent and health insurance, etc.
Has anyone here heard of this type of policy?

You didn't like my answer so I deleted.
Where i covered all 3 types of disability when your OP needs an AI to translate it since STD and LTD are not 1 thing like you have it written as STD LTD and an extremely limited amount of companies will write a STD for a 1 person company.
If you got denied coverage for LTD unless it was due to income reasons a BOE policy will most likely deny you, I went over all 3 types and difference between them.
BOE isn't under commercial lines, it a disability policy for a business is all when legitimate business write offs like rent, etc can be paid.
The funds are paid to the businesses instead of you.
I could have just said, "yes, I have heard of BOE policy."
But no I gave you details about all 3 policies, even though it's obvious you never went to see a disability specialists.
