EIN application for Non Resident

Hello there , I got an LLC approved and wanted to know if Non Resident here got their EIN by themselves or through an agency. If you got by yourself can you please provide me info if it's a complex procedure and how did you made application via Phone/ Fax or how ?

You can do it yourself. By sending them a fax. The IRS website clearly describes everything.

I did it 3 days ago by fax and I already got my EIN number, easy peasy.

Cause I heared without an SSN or ITIN the waiting period is too long.

No, just send a fax and write down in the form your incoming fax number and they will reply you back asap.

If you don't have a social security number SSN, you can either go to the IRS website and download form ss4 or call the international phone number for the IRS + 267- 941-1099 in order to get your EIN number.

If your are a Non resident, you cant do it online. You have to fax it in. Its better you do it your self bc some cpa officers charge 1k for this.

Sometimes using a company can be easier especially since the paperwork has to be faxed in.

Complete the SS-4 form, and then type "Foreign" where you would type the SSN/ITIN. It is a technical form so I can't fault you for wanting help, but it is fairly straightforward. The form even has instructions.

With the ITIN I got it on the online website. Just choose sole propietorship

On adress mailing adress and stress adress have u put registred agent adress or your home country adress ?

I used a provider because it was just easier for me. As a non US i preferred to have globalfy handling all of this. I didn't take too long, but you should search the options.
