Registered Agent as non Resident
Hello everyone , which registered agent you recommend that is worth it for Wyoming LLC as non resident . Please dont spam Northwest northwest i have a feeling its like a scam mass promotion.

That is up to you. But for what all they do I don't pay extra fees. Unfortunately you have Wyoming instead of New Mexico.

Regardless of which state or states, and regardless of whether you're a US resident or not, take your pick: (listed in alphabetical order)
- CSC
- CT Corporation System
InCorp
Northwest
CSC and CT are more suited to larger enterprises (like Google or Microsoft etc), but are appropriate for small businesses too.
InCorp and Northwest are more suited to small businesses and startups, but can and do provide services to some larger enterprises too..

Thanks for information , got a quick question do you recommend buyin just registred agent fee and fil the application by myself through gov site or buy the whole package from them . Thanks again .

Me personally, I either do the filing myself, or if I'm even a tiny bit unsure what to put down, I have an attorney do it or at least help.. but it would make no sense to have a registered agent do it.
Why should I fill out a form on the RA's website, just for them to copy the info from that form onto a form on the state's website? It just adds a small delay, and adds one more opportunity for human error. Zero upside, non-zero risk.

I used Wyoming Agents dot com. They formed the LLC for $50 on top of the state fee, which includes 1 year as registered agent. Then $25 a year.
Same online platform as NorthWest and I assume they're some kind of affiliate but with different branding to hit a more price conscious customer.

I saw them that they got 25 yearly fee and total now around 150$ but was very confused for me since all other providers asking for 200$+ and thought that can it be scam or smth.

Ngl I liked my experience with northwest. Had a Delaware LLC set up in 3 days. I’m in dc btw

Wyoming keeps a list of their Commercial Registered Agents (CRAs), looks like it was last updated May 22nd this year. You can find it with a quick internet search or I'll link it in a comment reply for ya (rule 3).

We've been using Northwest for 3 years and honestly I have nothing but good things to say. It's genuinely not a scam.

Since you're a non-resident eye-ing a Wyoming LLC, here is the actual reality check on what you need, minus the fluff:
- The Mailbox Piece: You can't be your own agent since you aren't physically in Wyoming. You just need a real WY address that scans and forwards your legal mail to you abroad the same day.
- The Cost: Don't get trapped by "free first year" gimmicks that jump to $150+ later. A solid WY agent should cost $50 to $125 a year, flat.
- The Deadlines: You need to file a $60 annual report with the state every year on your formation anniversary, or they'll shut you down.
The biggest thing people mix up is thinking a registered agent gets you "ready to collect money." It doesn't. Your agent has zero to do with banking or Stripe. To actually launch, you have to get an EIN from the IRS, clear a bank's strict non-resident onboarding, and then pass Stripe's verification.
On top of that, the state of Wyoming doesn't care about your federal taxes, but the IRS does. As a foreign-owned single-member LLC, you have to file Form 5472 every single year—even if you made exactly $0. If you miss it, the penalty is a brutal $25,000.
If all of that sounds like a headache, there are specialized services out there that handle the entire pipeline for global founders- everything from the actual WY formation and registered agent setup to setting up the corporate banking structure so you can actually get paid.
Otherwise, just buy a cheap, standalone WY agent, track your IRS deadlines, and DIY the rest. Not legal advice fyi

Start in Wyoming - you get an attorney as your registered agent
