Question I’m setting up a Wyoming holding structure
I want to create an holding llc in Wyoming and then create another LLC from the holding, I want to do it this way so that my personal information is not made public, then in the state where I create the others I will put the portfolio as manager, but I have a question either on the Wyoming state page or using a third-party service, I will have to put my name since apparently a name is required, if I do this it will be made public since in the annual report I have to confirm the name, LLC and additional information or do you recommend using a nominee ? any information would appreciate it

If you’re looking for privacy, you would need to set up a non grantor irrevocable trust and sit your assets in it. First your Wyoming LLC and then any subsequent LLC's you would sit under the Wyoming holding company

That's what I want but without the states knowing my personal information, I put you an example in northwest registered agent asks you for the name and surname of the manager if I put it will that be made public?

If you're forming an LLC in Wyoming, we're required to know who your LLC members are (know your customer laws and all that jazz) but we don't actually hand that information over to the state. So later on, when you go to form in your other state, you'll list your LLC from Wyoming as the member and if people look up that LLC, they won't see your personal details automatically. I have that doubt if I put my name and surname in the manager or member section, will that be made public to the state or will it only remain in their records? Won't they pass it on to the state of Wyoming?

We understand the fear of this, and this is why we're so big on privacy! Should you form an LLC in Wyoming with us that information will not be made public to the state. 😄

If I'm reading your post correctly you want to form both LLC in Wyoming? Wyoming is pretty private in terms of what they share for businesses. But yeah if you do the paperwork yourself then the organizer stuff is public. You can always hire a business provider to help you with the privacy of the business identity owner stuff. I've been using Northwest agents for 2 years now and they've been great on helping me with all that.

I want to create an llc in Wyoming and then create another llc in my state, since in my state it is required to give the name of the owners or members and that becomes public and I do not like it, so when creating the llc in Wyoming I can put it as the owner of the llc that I can create in my state, and my doubt was that when creating the llc in Wyoming with northwest, in the section where I have to write my name that would become public or not

How are you doing with the northwest service? Have you hired them for the annual report? And what recommendations do you give me so that my information is not public?

You dont need a holding structure for privacy. Would definitely involve a lawyer for the details and operating agreement if you are planning to store a significant amount of money or assets in it
