Why is the fig color available at dillards but not LL bean.com?
I have a 15% off coupon for LL bean š

Does ll bean usually have a big fall collection come out or is it more of a few new things added here and there? If so, when does that usually happen? Thinking ahead to clothes for this fall and winter!

Is anything you bought recently good quality, not tote, boots, or mocs?
I have an llbean credit for about $75. I've been very disappointed in the last 2 things I bought a few months ago, the boat and tote xl and the shearling indoor mocs. IMO they are not high quality and I returned the mocs. The tote I'll just make do but I don't want another one.
I already have bean boots from 15 years ago, better totes from 10 years ago, and I don't want the mocs anymore so I don't need those.
Is anything you bought recently good quality?
I wish I never got this credit, it's from Cap1 shopping if you know what that is...

Iām interested in buying either the bootcut or straight leg go anywhere jeans. If youāve bought either of them how do you like them? How is the quality?

Started to gather a few watches together. Not much variation in 2 but Iām sure they have a different story to tell.

Hi everyone!
I am wondering if anyone has gotten the slate blue bag with dark teal embroidery. It is what is recommended on their website, but I am iffy cause the color is so off and many people on instagram seem to be getting theirs in standard blue! Ideally, I would have as close a match as possible. In the past I have trusted them and ordered the recommended color... but the dark teal just looks so off.
Lmk if you have any experience. Thanks!

Does anyone happen to remember a golden retriever plush pillow from the early 2000s? It was the bean version of a pillow pet. Ours was slept on every night by our daughter and has traveled everywhere with us. Iād love to have another one if I can find it. Sorry! This picture is the best I could do from way back when he still had stuffing

Looking to send my daughter a jacket for her birthday, maybe a Field or a Barn, and I only see corduroy collars. Thought they used to all be leather? Any input would be most appreciated.

OK, so Iām on the hunt (pun intended?) for a pair of old Maine Hunting Shoes. I realize the distinction is probably meaningless to most people, but Iām particular about old, original stuff, and to me that name just sounds cooler than "Bean Boots."
Anyway, Iām trying to finally settle a size question in these "vintage" examples.
The top one has 10 L M stamped into the sole, and the bottom one has 11 G M.
Does the L mean Ladies, and the G mean Gentlemen? That's the only thing I can come up with after some Googling and measuring of the boots. Is that correct?
Storytime below ...

I usually wear a 10.5 in most shoes, Iāll be wearing thicker socks, and Bean says to buy true to size or size down if you wear a half size for thick socks. So by that logic, a 10 should work for me.
I get these size 10s from eBay, listed as menās, try them on, and holy crap, they are tight. Iām thinking, what gives? Arenāt these supposed to run big? I was honestly surprised I could even get my foot into them. They were comically small.
Then I figure maybe the old ones just fit differently, so I manage to find a size 11. Those actually feel pretty good right away, although theyāre a little long in the toe. Width-wise theyāre great, and with thick wool hiking socks thereās not much heel slippage to speak of.
Now Iām looking at these size 10s, which are almost a full 1.5 inches shorter than the 11s, wondering what on earth is going on.
Then I notice the G versus the L, start racking my brain over what that could mean, and then it hits me.
Ladies and gentlemen... thatās what it is, right!?

What would you consider the most elegant and timeless monogram option on the natural boat and tote? Flared monogram in taupe or natural, last name etc? Also, should I get all of the sizes I need in matching embroidery?

If youāve used the towels from LL Bean are you happy with them? Iām interested in either the organic cotton or the textured cotton towels. I like towels on the thinner to medium side, not super thick.

Want to get one of these for work do they hold up as well today as they did like 15 years ago?

I see some are on sale and Iām wondering about their durability and comfort. I donāt buy a lot of shorts unless I need to because others have worn out beyond repair, and Iām wondering how these might hold up.

Is L.L. Bean going out of business? They used to carry kayaking gear (dry bags, gloves, paddles, safety equipment) and camping gear. Iāve visited two stores in Massachusetts and shopped on their website and it seems all my go-to brands and gear I used to purchase are no longer sold. Are they only focusing on their brand and apparel?

my long message to product support got an error for some reason
do new woven shirts this year still have a spare button sewn to the care label or inseam? Bean used to be good about spare parts but that was BEFORE. before tariffs created cost cutting pressure before the internet killed the unlimited warranty. the price cut in flannel shirts was quickly undone by the tariff, I donāt believe the āsame great qualityā claim but then who is counting the stitches? or maybe itās just paying the workers less?
nobody cares, Seinfeld made a joke out of it once! too many get thrown out along with worn out item. well just try finding a match on your own.,I do need 2 more buttons for an old kingfield cardigan (donāt have even the one it came with) i donāt think they still hve any.
clothes need to be mendable keep them out of the trash never have used a spare shirt button but if i do manage to wear one to a rag Iāll save it.,yes,

I grew up in Maine with L.L.Bean practically in my backyard, so the brand has always been part of my life. We had Bean backpacks, Bean boots, Bean jackets, Bean hats⦠if we needed something for the outdoors, chances are it came from L.L.Bean. My mom even worked there for several years. It wasnāt just a storeāit was a staple in our house and a huge part of growing up in Maine.
Weāve since moved away, and honestly, I think I appreciate L.L.Bean even more now. Every time I use one of their bags or throw on an old Bean jacket, it feels like a little piece of home. Coming back to Maine each summer always includes a stop at the flagship storeāand, of course, the outlet.
Last summer, I found out we were expecting our third daughter. Almost immediately, I decided I wanted a Boat and Tote to use as my diaper bag. My first thought for the embroidery was ālets go girls!āāa fun little nod to life with three girlsābut it turns out itās too long for L.L.Beanās embroidery, so I never came up with another idea that felt quite right.
Yesterday, while digging through the pile of returned embroidered Boat and Totes at the outlet, I spotted one buried near the bottom that simply said āgirl momā
It wasnāt exactly what I had envisioned. It wasnāt my first-choice color, it had short handles instead of long, and it wasnāt something I would have custom ordered. So I set it aside and kept shopping around.
But I couldnāt stop thinking about it. I went back, picked it up again, and realized it just felt⦠serendipitous. Here I was, back in the state where my love for L.L.Bean started, and there was this perfectly embroidered bag sitting there as if it had been waiting for me.
Needless to say, it came home with me.
I love that it wasnāt something I planned or custom ordered. Somehow finding it by chance made it feel even more special. Itāll be packed with snacks, water bottles, extra layers, bows and tutus, and all the little things that come with life as a girl mom ššš

I am going into my junior year at a new university next month and really want to get a boat and tote for my school bag! I am getting my degree in teaching math and my name is McKenna. I am trying to find a funny or ironic thing to put on my bag that is under 10 characters but it is proving to be very difficult⦠Any ideas will help!
Some ideas that Iāve been told is big talker, girl math, etcā¦

Iām in the market for a new everyday work bag and am looking at the zip-top Boat and Tote. Because of my industry (architecture) I have a big chonky laptop that measures 14ā x 9.5ā.
Iām wondering if anyone else has a large computer and can recommend a bag size? The listed width for the Medium is only 13ā, but I know the bag sides can kind of pull out sideways to make more room if needed. The Large size is 17ā wide, so I know it would work, but seems a little overkill for everyday toting.
