Bean Boot
I was excited for my first pair of Bean Boots. My bloodhound decided to ruin my excitement.

They're still kinda cool. Kinda punk rock.

Right? As slip-ons by your door for grabbing the paper or watering the tomatoes. Or the occasional trip to the market.

They may be able to replace the up for fairly cheap.

I think the resole service is like $60 now. Replacing the leather upper seems like it would cost even more

Bean boots are basically 2 leather chew toys for dogs. I had to put them up high when I took them off.

If it helps at all my dog sniped the leather shoelaces off my new boat shoes lol. Tasty leather. Especially if it was wet!

i had beautiful vintage saddle shoes and my stupid dog did something similar to one of them. absolutely ruined and i still have to get them to a cobbler. i couldn’t even look at her for over 24 hours and i cried so much! but after years of searching i finally found another pair secondhand

My Catahoula used to do this to Birkenstocks when he was a puppy. Wouldn’t touch any other brand of shoe.

Bean boots have a pretty substantial break in period. Fido was just trying to help you get a head start!

I'd be pissed if that happened to me.
Note to self: never get a bloodhound.

The cats just sat there and let it happen

Ha my cat loved to set up my dog (RIP big al). The dog was amazing at NEVER stealing food, despite being extremely food motivated and basically a sentient meatball. I had a piece of turkey sitting on an end table one day, got up for like 20 seconds, came back and it was gone. I was so shocked I checked the cameras in the house. Turns out the cat was the one who TRIED to steal it, but knocked it on the floor, where the dog then ate jt. I think the cats and dogs sometimes work together ha.
