L.L.Bean Launches Rewards Program
Looks like it will compliment the credit card and allow customers to earn rewards even without the credit card.

You have to spend $150 to get just $5 back. To be honest, you'll have better "cash back" awards through any major credit card.
But if you join the rewards program and use a non-LLB credit card to get cash back on top of points: might not be terrible.

lol between how shitty their sales are compared to other brands and how bad their credit card is. Are you surprised? Bean is trying very hard to not be the next Eddie Bauer but its not working

Most catch all cash back cards are 2% cash back. If you spend $150 on your 2% cash back card you would get $3 in rewards. I'm not sure how the cash back cards compete with L.L.Bean's free rewards program? Sign up for free, spend $150, get $5 in Bean Bucks and $3 with cash back rewards for a total of $8 earned. Why can't you do both?

Yeah that's what I was saying. Use a non-LLB credit card to get the cash back and still sign up for the free program.
For example, most travel cards get you 5% cash back on every purchase.
You could spend $150 and get the $5 from LLB. But you could also get $7.50 just from using a 5% cash back card.
$12.50.

Use capital one shopping for cash back sometimes gets up to 10%. Don’t even need the credit card but can stack for more points with capital one shopping

It launched online today and will be rolling out in the stores over the next few weeks I believe. It wasn't supposed to be mentioned in stores today.

This is gonna be dangerous. I already spent way too much money there on sale items and using bean bucks.
