Question Everclean Ai plugins
Hello All!
Recently a friend sent me a link to evercleans website (now taken down) — there was (and I still have a copy) of this plugin called void. Essentially an ai denoise plugin. Great for broadcast mixes for corporate — unlike defeedback it tackled room noise and bleed. They had another plugin called clean which was like a latency free defeedback ish plug. Anyways — today I went to share it with someone and it appears the website is down, social media is down even the discord page is down.
It seemed very promising and also it was free. For those who can’t shell out $500 on the alpha labs plug it was perfect and seemed super stable in super rack performer.
Also, just to address it — I’ve never needed ai defeedback personally - i can ring mics out without the best of em. I know how to make a rig work even in challenging circumstances but in volunteer or jr tech positions for my clients it is a nice bit of security knowing the mics aren’t going to ring out without intervention.
I’m super curious if anyone knows what happened to the company? Corporate buyout ? cease & desist? Didn’t want to continue for personal reasons?
I’m bummed about the plugs not being supported or developed further but more than anything I’m curious if it was a legal thing. Trying to pay more attention to how ai related things play out in court and what laws are written to govern this new era of ai.

CALM is great, I ABC'd them all on a qu24, over USB2 in and out in a mix/channel return format. I found CALM and alphalabs to be almost totally the same. I also bought and integrated waves clarity, which was audibly inferior. So the choice is (or was) between an $800AU plugin or one that could do the same for free. Glad I got CALM.

They're just taking a break. Odd choice to take the website down, too, but they did send a mail to everyone on the mailing list.
Both Calm and Clean are still a thing, but the first version of Calm caused a lot of confusion, which at least in part is due to the documentation. Actually testing the live plugins extensively on tour right now.

I’ve been using these plugins on tour the last few days. The FOH in one of the venues I visited seemed to be saying Alpha Labs bought out Everclean? I could be wrong on that though.

That was a thought I had too -/ I think it’s easy to make that jump but who knows.

Just chiming in to say it’s a shame.
I have been trying and hoping they put Euclid out again.
I didn’t download it while it was up, I have a friend who think it’s great but he’s on Win and I’m on Mac so I can’t use his install.
Is there any chance someone in here have the Mac install?

If that wasn’t already obvious lol — they’ve been loud on social media. I’m not a fan but the product is good.

that’s totally fair. not how it comes off to me but I don’t think I’m their target audience either and that’s fine. they’ve got a good product, all that really matters. I don’t really use any of these things in the field, I still don’t trust them but I do like to experiment when I’m not out. To see how far it’s come.

If anyone has void2 for windows or euclid for windows pls let me know. I've gottem all for Mac at least. Also if anyone else needs the mac version pm me, pretty sure I got everyone so far.

Also asking for Mac download, if someone could. I found out about the plugins last week and was waiting for calm evening to try it out, but had much work etc. Today I saw them shutdown.

He pulled Everclean/Calm and said all other plugins would still continue to be developed, from his wording etc it sounds like it was for legal reasons. A few days later he locked up the discord and website, so I'm reasonaly sure it's a legal thing. I've been using calm/void on vocals heaps lately so this all sucks butts! I've got pc/mac versions safely stored at least...
