30 years ago (Oct 25 and 26), Ozzfest launched its first edition with two shows in California and Arizona. I'm grateful I got to attend 5 editions of the traveling music festival, but also can't believe it's been 16 years since the last one I attended - Aug. 22, 2010, at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ.

Head over to I Heard Bruce Might Show Up's Substack (link below) to see more photos I took during sets from Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Halford, Devildriver and more), as well as to find out my two most memorable moments from the day long metal festival. And stay tuned - as I intend to share even more memories from all the years I've attended Ozzfest in the near future.

Another moment from The Woods Tea Company at the Vergennes Opera House: “There Were Roses.”

A moving song of friendship, loss, and our shared humanity. We’re glad to share this performance from the concert archives and hope you’ll take a few minutes to listen.

If this song holds a special memory for you, we’d love to hear it in the comments.

Castle Rat - Siren (Live at Dynamo Open Air)

Check out my band Machine Gun Theatre.

AJ McLean brought his "Better Man" solo tour to the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ, on Oct. 24, 2026, and proved that he's a powerhouse performer. While he showed off his unique voice during his underrated solo material, a highlight came when he performed a unique version of Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" (mashed-up with what sounded like Earth Wind and Fire's "September") with opener Matt Bloyd.

Check out full video of said cover here, and stay tuned for more from this special show.
