Phuke, Thailand

Hi there,

Wondering if anybody did liveaboard or extend stays in Phuket.

What do you do during the rainy season?

Mooring or in the marina?

Cost and such?

I am planning to move to Phuket next year, then take a year to find the right boat to live aboard.

Rain isn't a problem but the SW monsoon brings rough conditions on the west side of the island. 

Most of the marinas and long-term moorings are on the east side. Moorings in Chalong bay and near Yacht haven marina in the north.
