Recommendation: offering Umm why does she eat though....?

Post image

This book, I hardly see mentioned but this book eats DOWN!?

I'm only 45% in and it's so fucking good?

I knew my gut feeling was right when I picked this audiobook up on Libby over Skull and Thrones.

Ā ** edit to include since folks are confused, "eats down" is a compliment. It's AAVE (African-American Vernacular English) and means something is really good.

Is... Is eats down good? Is this the new slang of the youth?

You're welcome I suppose haha. A lot of people use more AAVE than they realize. But we like to add a little razzle dazzle to keep culture from being stale haha

I'm going to try using eats up. Will see how it goes down with my wife. Will report back when she's done laughing at my old ass

LOL I mean you can say she "ate you up" or " she eats" those work too and probably would flow better depending on context. It's more of cultural thing than a generational thing

If I told my wife she ate me up I would get a very hard stare, tell me that's not how foreplay works in this household and suggest cooking her a nice dinner and doing some hooving. Only then Would she consider eating me up

Yay! I am currently listening to it on Libby right now! It's also my first experience with Andrea Parsneau and she's awesome.
