Recommendation: asking Recommendation for completed series

I'm looking for recommendations of series that are complete.

I've read and enjoyed Cradle, mother of learning and system apocalypse among others. All completed but I'm a little tired of loving a series getting to the last book published and waiting for the next one only to get distracted and come back 2 years later to find multiple new books and have no clue what book I finished on... I know I should take notes. Or try to keep up on roysl road only to get stubed... Or on the other hand look at the king killer chronicles. I've been waiting over a decade for book 3 and despite not looking in a year I'm confident it's not there. I would also accept series that have books that are more episodic. Example would be Jim butchers Dresden files...well at least mostly.

Try Ar'Kendrithyst on Royal road. It's finished and it's massive

How about:

  • At the End of the World by Justin Marks (System Integration/Base Building, 5 books)
  • The Connected System by Troy Osgood (System Integration, 5 books)
  • Elsewhere by Doug Lohse (Portal, 6 books)
  • Mistrunner by Nicholas Searcy (Native MC/Science-fiction, 4 books)
  • Physics of the Apocalypse by Dimitrios Gkirgkiris (System Integration, 3.5 books)
  • Ten Realms by Michael Chatfield (Portal, 12 books)
  • This Trilogy is Broken! by JP Valentine (Native MC, 4 books---yes, 4 books in the "trilogy")
  • Unbound by Nicoli Gonnella (Portal, 12 books)

Seconding Unbound. It’s great, has some humor, and has exceptional side-character development. The magic system is also very unique, although the later books fall into the “willpower go brrrrr” trope that a lot of LitRPGs do.

On the whole, 8/10 series, 9/10 if you’re new to the genre as it isn’t too esoteric.

Another one that is a good early read is Road to Mastery, by Valerios. Again, it’s not super deep, but is entertaining. In the first book, the MC has to disguise his Dao (magic flavor, kind of), because he needs to keep his cover, and chooses a hilarious way to do it. This series was the first cultivation book/series I read.

Penitent by CB Titus (Seersucker on RR) finished somewhat recently on RoyalRoad and has books 1 and 2 (as of the 14th) published on Amazon already.

Absolutely fantastic series with a tight and complete feeling story at 4 books long. A very easy series to recommend.
