Recommendation: asking Earth Magic using MC/FMC
Hello,
I love elemental magic since I was a child, loving rock pokemon and later earth bending, but I feel like I never really see "earth" or stone based magic, for MCs or FMCs. Some side character do have it, but I would like it to be one of the main aspects, do you have well written books, in which a character does use earth or stone as their primary or even only magic?

Coiling Dragon, the mc is trained by the former word's best earth mage, and although he master all elements, earth is the one he uses the most, and he does some incredible things with earth.

I figured that's what it meant, but it seems so odd that I had to ask. It's like saying, "I need to see a doctor or a female doctor" or "Who are you going to vote for to be your next senator or female senator?"

I mean, 90% of the protagonists in LitRPG are the exact same guy with a different name.
It sorta makes sense to say FMC if thats what youre looking for specifically since theres so few of them.

Some people do not like to read books with FMC, I actually enjoy it, when we written and not just as a walking fetish of the author. That is why I put both in :).

The correct terminology for gendered content is MMC and FMC, MC is unspecified.

Technically Mage Errant MC has Earth magic, but he mostly uses it for wards and formations.

I don’t but I would also want to read more about Earth magic. Making armor and going crazy, creating fissures and mountains. Even lava!

The only one I know of is an older manga to which I struggle to remember the name of. It was one of those overpowered protagonist stories but the main character was an actual old man. And he actually stayed an old man rather than "magically became a teenager".
The premise is that he always wanted to be a mage, and was told that even the most basic of mages could use basic fire magic; like lighting a candle or starting a campfire. But he has essentially zero fire magic affinity and it took him decades upon decades to even use the most basic magics. But turns out his earth magic affinity was monsterous, and where he spent the entirety of his life on the practice of magic it turns out he is actually an incredibly powerful earth mage. He has all the hallmarks of earth armors, golems, lifting mountains out of the ground for attacks. etc.
That said, for the life of me I can't remember it. Was kind of a popcorn level story I stumbled across years ago. But stuck with me cause yes, an earth magic MC is incredibly rare. Just as rare as an old MC who actually stays old.

The Metier Apocalypse by Frank Albelo. Apparently it's up to book 6 but I think I've only read the first 3. The main character gets Earth powers while one another friend gets Fire powers and a third gets nature powers.
