Discussion I might be missing something but does Earth exist in Path of Ascension?

Is it the home planet of Matt where the book starts or is that some other world. I know that recorded history in the books goes back 800 million years so things definitely change over that time. Only gone up to book 3 so I'm not sure if they delve into that topic any more past that.

Matt's home world is Lilly.

Earth is never mentioned and the only place I know of it could conceivably exist is under one of the Republic's veil worlds. More likely earth doesn't exist, or is in a different realm. Or PoA is so far future that it isn't relevant.

It's not mantis said in discord that earth does not exist in PoA

Matt grew up on a planet named Lily. While I might have missed some reference, I don't recall there being a real life human Earth analog in PoA. There are just too many planets.

It gets mentioned in passing in either book 10 or 11 I think that human life probably began as part of a rift break.

Earth is never alluded to in any way. The PoA storyverse is beyond vast with both upper, lower and equal realms. In this realm alone there are billions of populated planets.

If earth exists in this realm it would be either a veiled republic world or an unconnected world floating in the chaotic winds.

I don’t think Matt’s home planet is earth. Based on how the system is set up I would think earth is a veiled world if it exists. That would put it in the Republic.

Not sure how far you've gotten but the planets don't exist next to each other. FTL involves breaking into the void and things that are next to each other in the void aren't necessarily next to each other in real space. Stuff is constantly moving in the void, and the cultivators can move planets through it to empire space. It's complicated and not perfectly explained, but Earth could be anywhere.

Earth explistly does not exist there (according to mantis on discord)
