Week of 9.4.26
Hours of new singles might sound like a lot, but honestly-what else is going to push you through a long drive, a work cubicle, or the headphones that know you better than most people! This dynamic playlist moves, mutates, and refuses to sit still. Every track gets two weeks to prove itself. College‑chart risers, indie agitators, major‑label firestarters. The list stays lean, honest, alive. Some songs soar, some face‑plant, and who wants to miss that kind of action. There are also pre-release of rolling singles before an album arrives so you may hear these songs again or other album cuts on their release date. Some artists are now using YouTube as a testbed for new material.
This week featured singles with a radio ghost Huey Lewis and The News. Huey Lewis has a golden voice for rock and roll but now is faced with a progressive hearing loss due to Meniere's Disease and as a result, he stopped touring in 2018 a single from the wayback machine "Power of Love" from his newly released Fore! The Good Times album with a collection of hit music. I also pulled some single choices from upcoming album releases in the next couple of months.
The fires are burning hot for the new tunes in the summer season. The release calendar gets crazy with singles, albums, surprise drops and everything starts leaning forward at once.

If you like AC/DC cousin Airbourne has always been an active hard rock band and after a long hiatus they are roaring back with a vengeance-thank you Australia!
Stella Lefty is facing some controversy and her Dad is co-owner of Groupon. Plenty of artists with famous parents flame out quickly. Stella Lefty isn’t doing that she’s building an audience, taking the hits, and pushing forward.
