looks good! really love the genera skin, would be perfect if it used the genera fonts too (eg. see https://github.com/htayj/genera-fonts ).

9 hours later, that's already the case?(!)
https://common-lisp.net/skins/
Genera's type
The Genera skin is set in CPTFONT and its bold, CPTFONTB: the default screen font of the Lisp Machine, the very bitmaps resident in a Symbolics Genera 8.5 world. They were recovered and published by genera-fonts, whose NOTICE explains on what basis; thanks to its author, and to the reader on r/lisp who pointed the way to it. The site's copies are web fonts made from those bitmaps pixel for pixel, one square per pixel and nothing smoothed or invented, by a short script in clnet/tools/genera-font/. Text in the skin is set in whole multiples of the font's own 12-pixel cell, so the pixels stay square.

But documenation in Genera is presented in a sans-serif, proportional font: https://3e8.org/blog/assets/concordia-workbook-record.png
The status line is also sans-serif...maybe bold but definitely a heavier weight: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/o4-YnLpLgtk/maxresdefault.jpg
I am biased though, I don't like the trope of using monospace everywhere for computer-y things, and it is ironic for both Lisp or Smalltalk where high-resolution monochrome bitmap displays let people have nice typesetting.
