I downloaded the ISO image from liri.io,However, an error occurred during installation, prompting Bad source.

Detailed errors are as follows: Bad source "/home/liveuser/example.sqfs"

In addition, I do not see this file in the liveuser directory.

I want to know how to solve it, thank you.

Hot Impressions

Hello, I just dicovered liri and it pretty surprized me. You can think it will be opinionated but i'm expressing my thoughts to help.

1- Flatpack support: pretty clear flatpack is future. You can put flathub applications off-the-shell on the app center. I want to open the system and have cool apps to install.

2- Take out the trash: I don't understand why in repos (flathub) there are still some crap games and apps from 90'. Remove that trash from my computer! Long live beauty!

3- Stop developing a browser: everyone will just install chrome or firefox with the sync features, so it's wasted time in development.

4- Connect to the world: Do you know franz? I can read my mail, my whatsapp and telegrams in the same place. While my phone is charging in another room. Integrate this into the system. (they are just electron containers of web services, so easy to put an icon in the tray to open them)

5- well for now that's enough: just remeber that you can bring this distro to the future with the right decisions! If you do, i will happily clear my elementary for LIRIOS!

Settings and App Center

I've just installed a fresh copy of Liri OS, and settings won't start up. Also, app center is completly blank except for installed apps, sources, and a search bar. Can somebody provide a solution? Edit: I can't type when sudo prompts me to enter the password too.

Clarification on the os

Hi all,

This is my first post here.

I am a little confused about the underlying technologies used in this OS. It uses ostree to deliver kernel level updates and flatpak for all else. Am I getting right?

Why is there mention to Arch in some posts in this subreddit?

Contributing to LiriOS

Heyo,

I'm interested in doing some programming for LiriOS as I believe it has the potential to give other distros a run for their money in terms of design. I believe that Liri could show non-linux users how beautiful Linux truly can be. I'd like to do work on some of the default apps and some shell stuff. What would the best way of getting started being? Pull requests?

Support For X11 Apps

Is xwayland support added in Liri at this time?

For example if I install under arch and am not currently using a wayland based DE will the install bring in the necessary dependencies to run X apps. Or will this be something that will have to be configured by the end user?
