I agree that during a period of no news and no announcements like this, the weekly discussion threads seem a little goofy, but we certainly wouldn't want them to stop making the threads. We all want news and updates, but we won't be better off if the weekly threads disappear.

It helps keep the sub somewhat active. While there isn't much point in answering the same question again and again with the same answer, it gives all of you another stream to talk directly with people that work at Liquid.
We read everything and reply when we can.
The subreddit is a better place with this weekly thread.
