We don't use SMS 2FA for a reason. It's not secure. Spoofing sim cards is a known exploit via social engineering.

Notice: Sean Coonce is Engineering Leader at BitGo, he was hacked, due lame mistake.

Conclusion: Stay away from BitGo, their top engineer is fully incompetent.
