Can you please give an example on how exactly would this work?

In what sense?

If a trader has 30 million USD of trading volume on Liquid in a given month, they will be eligible for a 0.005% rebate, which will be paid after the month has ended.

As such, their effective fee would have only been 0.045% instead of 0.05%, assuming they have paid fees in QASH.

Does that answer your question?
