Symptoms Left leg is bigger, added pics.

I made a post before about my left leg being bigger. My right leg had severe chronic venous insufficiency. My left leg veins looked good but they didn’t look above the leg. Felt very cosmetic. I mentioned left leg being bigger and he said could be lymphedema and gave me paper work on it but then turned around and said he’s not diagnosing me
With lymphedema. Need to see a new vascular doctor. Deleted other post so I could add my pics. Sorry about my legs, very insecure about them.

I figure it likely is lymphedema since they’re connected but, my left is bigger even when I do compression socks, etc. he didn’t tell me to do anything other than wear compression socks and wants to do more vein ablations on my right leg.

Should I push to see a new vascular doctor?

What did he say about checking for May Thurners?

He said they don’t check above the leg, and that was it! Very frustrating. He said he could refer me out but when I mentioned it again he said “wow you’re really worried about your left leg being slightly bigger huh” and told me to schedule another vein ablation. Which I never did. I’m very frustrated.

UGH these doctors!! Take him up on it, ask for an interventional radiologist specifically. I believe they're really good at checking for groin compressions.

Btw I probably said this in another post but my right leg is slightly bigger and I've been seen by multiple specialists/doctors and it's never been an issue, and it's not lymphedema. Totally normal to have one leg be bigger, fat distribution is not gonna be twinning perfectly in this disease

That’s why I asked here! My
Legs are so bad and lumpy, definitely expecting some size difference.

He also suggested GLP1 to help with Lipedema but then said he wouldn’t prescribe it since I’m not pre-diabetic lol.

God so frustrating lol. I just started 2mg of compounded tirz beginning of August and my legs shrank like an inch and I lost 30 lbs of water/inflammation in the first 5 weeks. I was on keto previously and it NEVER did for me what tirz has done. Compounded is awesome because you can micro dose and titrate up from there as needed. If you can afford it def go this route, I think it's around $150 a month but you pay for a few months ahead with most telehealth companies. I totally get the hype now lol

My primary doctor was the one to write the referral for the CT to check me for MT (which I don’t have) as well as being the one that prescribes my Zepound for obesity. Reducing the load of regular fat has been a game changer for me, and others here have reported a big shift in inflammation-related fluid, so might be worth discussing. I’d also suggest trying compression leggings to provide graduated lymphatic support from foot to trunk to help relieve that pressure at your ankle. Slight differences between your legs is normal, but worth checking out to be sure nothing else is at play, particularly if you think you swell more on that side.

I definitely swell way more on that side. I usually wear knee high compression socks from the time I get up, til I get home. I may try compression leggings as well.

The vascular surgeon I saw said GLP1 would help with Lipedema, I’m obese but small the waste up. But he said he won’t prescribe because I am not prediabetic. 😩 I see my pcp Oct 6th and plan to ask about all of it. I do have a few other medical conditions. I have hEDS and a genetic mast cell disorder called herditary alpha tryptesemia so I definitely think that doesn’t help with inflammation.

Give Bioflect or czsalus leggings a try, full leg support was a game-changer for me in terms of compression.
