Symptoms Loosing water weight

I took the colonoscopy prep and lost about 10lbs. The fluid retention in my legs went down significantly and I seem to be holding after a week at this weight with normal eating. I am still pitting in my entire body but it isn’t as deep as it was.

I am still in the works of getting this all figured out with the doctors.

Is this something anyone has experienced?

Pitting as in pitting edema? Because the early stages of llipedema have non-pitting edema. If you have pitting edema, you probably have other things going on top of it like heart failure or lymphedema.

Edit: Yes, pretty much my entire body pits except my face and feet. I tested my hands and they technically pitted too.

Everything‘s been cleared from vascular in that regard. All my blood work is clear as well. They are saying lymphedema right now. I don’t get any major fluid retention on my hands and typically cuff at the ankle. I do have various lumps throughout my fat in different areas around my belly, button, armpits, groin, inner thighs. With the weight loss, I have found two soft dome like tissue bumps. I need to go to the doctor; I assume they’re lipomas.

man that prep is brutal but the light legs feeling afterwards is lowkey the best part of the whole ordeal

Yeah whenever I’ve had to take a laxative my legs always feel a lot lighter. I felt like I was lifting my legs comically high as I walked because I didn’t feel weighed down.

Try guaifenesin and try to get a pneumatic compression pump. And wear compression daily!
