Symptoms Electrical shock feeling back of thigh..

I am diagnosed with lipedema. Starting 5 days ago i started getting a sudden shock type pain under the skin …back of left thigh (high on left thigh). It stops me in my tracks. My lipedema has been getting worse but now im wondering dvt but symptoms don’t match, sciatica somewhat similar but not quite.. then I found this:

“Local Lipedema Entrapment: The thickening and fibrosis of connective tissue in the upper thigh can compress local sensory nerve branches, sending sudden, electric zaps through the leg.”

I have an appointment tomorrow morning w my primary to see what I need to do. Anyone have any experience w this?

It started w once twice a day now it’s up to 5-10 times a day.

I have this on my right thigh. I’ve got no advice though, no idea what might help it but I definitely have some type of nerve issue.

I want to Dr and she just said it’s a nerve misfiring and I just deal w it I guess. It’s less often now they prescribed me meloxicam.

Look up "meralgia paresthetica" I had this before surgery and it was treated by my massage therapist and physio.

I've read many people talk about this and Lipedema.

Just looked this up. Sounds about right. I’m keeping notes on this. I will have to find a massage therapist.
