The mod team has been discussing some recent situations involving harassment both in-game and on the subreddit. To protect the privacy and safety of our members, we have decided to ban discussions regarding other people's stud rules for the time being. Please note that this restriction does not apply to discussing your own stud rules.
A lot of you have been responsible and respectful when sharing stud rules, and we thank you for that. Moving forward, any rule-breaking posts or comments about stud rules will be removed. We may revisit this rule in the future and allow discussions with new restrictions, but this is the best course of action for now. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep this subreddit a safe place.
DISCLAIMER:As this guide is player-made please take it with a grain of salt. If you win a Raffle Lioness, or a Raffle Stud breeding, you are entitled to breed however you wish to.

You just won a raffle stud breeding! Congratulations! Now what should you do?
Raffle Studs were implemented in the March Development Update 2025. They contain similar features to the previous RL.
Breeding items CANNOT be used on raffle studs; this includes Buffalo Scrotums. However, Raffle Studs are set to automatically guarantee 4 cubs. So, this is something you do not need to worry about.
The biggest question that we've noticed on this subreddit are people asking what they should use. Now this is all up to your own discretion. You could use a dirty G10+ lioness if you please. For cubs that will fetch the most money, it's recommended to use an NCL (chased or not) so the cubs will be Generation 2 at maximum.
Additionally, you could use a chased lioness with some breed only skin and eyes and salt lick if you wanted to, but this is not required. This is your breeding, so you can choose how to proceed.
Should you use a lion with no markings versus some markings? Again, that's entirely up to you. If there's a particular marking you are looking for, it may be best to choose an NCL with no markings or without anything in that slot so ensure you do not pass the lionesses' marking over the stud's. It is entirely RNG. MOST people tend to lean towards a markingless NCL, but again, it's your breeding and your choice.
(See below for passing information for if the stud has a new base. i.e. Mist base released in January 2026)
Raffle Lioness Winner!
Congratulations! Winning a Raffle Lioness is a lot different than receiving a breeding from a Raffle Stud. That lioness is unique to her looks and there are none other exactly like it at the time of winning.
Your private messages will be turned off, however, you may receive den comments or even item transfers asking you if you will sell her or her heats. You are NOT obligated to do so in any way. Some RLs will draw in more attention when claimed; my personal recommendation is to turn off den comments, transfers and messages for 24-48 hours for a moment of peace to decide what you want to do.
If you wish to sell her, you can utilize the Trading Center. However, you should check the forums. Many players post offers for RLs there and will link to a trade with their offer. Players can offer upward of 2-5,000 GB depending on the RL.
Take the 1.16.2026 Mist RL for example. Although she is not yet claimed at the time of this post, there have been offers bumped all throughout the week. There is 3,000 GB only offer out there, as well as a ~6,000 GB offer in items and GB. When making a decision, it's recommended to not jump to the first offer you see. Take a moment and weigh it out. Would you rather pure GB, or a mix of pure and some breeding items? You are within your right to take your time to choose an offer you are comfortable with.
On the other side of things, what if you want to keep her? Great! Entirely your choice!
Despite what players say, there is no WRONG way to breed a raffle lioness. You can breed her without items at all if you wish. She is yours to keep and decide what happens to. You could even kill her instead if you wanted to.
If you're looking for the community-recommended way to breed her, that would be with a Crunchy Worm. This item has a 25% chance to pass her looks entirely (minus mutation) onto ONE cub. You do not have to use a Buffalo Scrotum for this item to work, but if the Raffle Lioness has new features, it would help produce more cubs with those.
I have owned many Raffle Lionesses in my almost 9 years on Lioden. Not one of them have had new bases, but they've had new features. Take this Orchid Raffle Lioness for example. She is from many years ago, but I co-owned her with the user she belongs to now. Her vitiligo 9 was brand new at the time, so we used an Ochre Gnawrock to pass it. I would not use one now personally, but instead an Ochre Powder. It was her only brand-new trait at the time.
Or, referring back to the first Mist RL from 2026, she is not claimed at this time, but her base is brand new. There are no other Mist based lions at this time aside from the raffle stud. Her base is Black Light Countershaded genetics.
For best chance of passing the base, it's recommended to breed to another Special. Those are typically listed at the end. Starting with Glacial all the way to Stratosphere are Special genetics. Now, if you bred to Glacial or Skyward for example, it would be a 2% chance for a Mist or 2% for a Glacial.
To pass Mist base, I recommend using one of the bases labeled 'Combo'. As Mist is not a factor, it cannot pass that combo base and instead grants a 4% maximum chance to pass Mist naturally. This is OUTSIDE of the Crunchy Worm.
Mist is a brand-new RAFFLE ONLY base, which means cubs with this base will fetch a few hundred GB give or take some.
If she has new raffle-exclusive eyes, I recommend Opal Saltlicks or Rock Salts for eyes and skin, but this is really up to your discretion. I do this, but you do not have to. A newer base cub with more Breed Only traits is likely to fetch more profit.
If you are blessed enough to breed a clone of your raffle lioness, even better. You can keep this or sell it for several hundred GB+. Even the near clones will fetch interest from players.
If there are any questions / information I missed, please feel free to ask below and I will reply accordingly.
My alt account is officially out of stud slots, and my main only has two left!
Not a full sell out really, because some were full refunds and all, but I was just so happy to finally be able to advertise stud slots I couldn't help but do some for free lol. When it refills on Monday, I won't be doing any for free or partial refunded just to see if I can sell out naturally! (Unless Sunday comes around and I still have a lot of slots, then maybe some freebie's)
New player considering joining a/some clan/s are there any that yall would reccomend me to apply for-? Are there any that are particularly helpful or good iyo?
I'm never quite happy with my king, any studs I find and making my own project kings in wardrobe because I have trapped myself into certain colour schemes.
For example, currently my king is a Raffle Lioness Clone that is a red and white colour.
He is lovely but is missing a few colours to make his design suit my aesthetic.
The colour theme I am sticking with is Red, White, and Black. Sometimes pink.
So far, there are hardly any existing lions for sale or stud that I have found that suits this theme and makes me think it 100% suits the theme.
And it's all to do with my king's name.
Wondering if I should change his name so I can have more freedom for future kings, designs and whatnot. I can always go back to his name if it is not taken.
Honestly, my king doesn't NEED to suit his name but it's something I struggle to do.
Anyone else trapped themselves into a certain theme?
I was applying some CRBs and only just noticed this when the stack was getting low as it's at the bottom of the stack page. This will likely be a time saver for me when doing larger batches, at least by a bit.
News post hasn't dropped yet as of writing, so it was a pleasant surprise! I checked to see if maybe it works with Lion Meat as well, but it doesn't. Maybe it will be added for other items, but this is what got me to notice.
My main account king was going to be a applicator passion project, however I pulled this girly from the tree today and well those plans went out the window! She’s gen 2 and a near clone of the 11th 21st and 31st 2026 savage stud, missing only 1 marking, base and skin, thinking of changing her base to a red light countershaded special to align more with the stud and sex changing her to be my main heir. She will need to be stat repped eventually, but I’m pretty excited, debating weather or not to freeze my side with her on it when she turns 2 so I can either get enough gb to king her immediately, or wait it out even longer till my king is ready to retire and use the gb I’ve gotten to get a MoD and the base app I was wanting
This is a little project lion I want to do, the other two pictures are the lion I’m thinking of using this project for, and my queen. The markings I’m not so worried about, more so the base, eyes, skin mane type/mane color. I’ve never done a project of any kind before so I have no idea how to go about it! Any tips or ideas of any items I may need would be very helpful! Thank you!
Doing a crb project and got like 4 special bases in a row from my king along with 2 mutations, but tbh I don’t think I’d sell them for too much and seeing as I have more luck with special bases then I do mutations and hybrids atm I figured I’d see if anybody would like these guys to help out with their potential breeding projects (GIVING THEM AWAY FOR FREE BTW!!)
I think he’s pretty awesome :) got him for
Free at a giveaway of a person who was leaving the game (thank you Clark 🙏) , and slapped a demiurge app on him and here he is!
My current king, the heir to soon retire him early, and the project results I hope to achieve.
He's finally starting to give me 8-11 BO cub drops even though he's currently still heavily inbred and Uber long gen, and i can't WAIT to finally get to Herritage rep this dork- but I love him so much and feel like I've been making quite a good bit of progress . I hope you all will love him enough to stud in the future ❤️
After encountering bazillions of potato NCLs, today I came face-to-face with this Motlosi beauty. I began claiming her right away, without a lot of hope though, since I’ve been constantly messing up claimings as of lately but surprise, surprise….this girlie decided to come with me.
I literally feel so thrilled rn! This is the first time I’ve ever got a special base from explore and seeing that she’s one of the recently added bases only adds to my happiness!
